La Tropezienne opened in October 2005, and since then has become well known within the Melbourne French expat community, and among the wider community of people who love France and French gourmandises.  As well as offering both classic and modern styles of French pâtisserie, over time we have incorporated into our repertoire Australian seasonal favourites such as hot cross buns at Easter time and mince pies for Christmas.

“Flavour is all” and we work hard to achieve the right balance of flavour against sweetness.  Quality likewise is very important to us; we constantly strive to reinvent and improve our products; for this reason we use imported ingredients where we believe it will make a difference to the quality of the finished product, and we do not use premixes or preservatives.
